On Feb. 26, teacher Beth Schiel sent out an email to the juniors and seniors about updates on the 2021 Prom.
In the email, Schiel said that Prom planning will continue and that, so far, the following information has been decided.
Prom is planned for April 10 from 6-8:30 p.m., but the location is still to be determined. However, Prom will be an outside formal event.
Juniors and seniors will be allowed to invite the date of their choice as usual, and the usual guidelines will have to be followed for signing up dates beforehand.
The theme of this year’s Prom will be the “Roaring ‘20s,” but no new decorations will be ordered, as decorating will be limited outdoors; students and parents are welcome to donate items adhering to the theme but will not be reimbursed for them.
There will be refreshments served, but they will also be limited to COVID-19 friendly snacks.
