On Jan. 27 a Scholar Bowl tournament was held at 4:00 p.m. in Phillipsburg.
The students who went to the tournament were junior Trenton Potter as captain, junior Cole Jacobsen, Junior Scott Ring, freshman Lacey Gregory, and freshman Brendan Chapman.
The Varsity Scholar Bowl team took third place. They lost to TMP by one question and Norton by half a question by interrupting a question while it was being read and got it wrong.
The Varsity Scholar Bowl team will be going against TMP and Norton again next Monday, and their regionals are next Thursday at TMP.
