“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” review

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was released on March 25. The movie is a sequel to the 2013 film, “Man of Steel.”

In this movie Batman (Ben Affleck) seeks to destroy Superman (Henry Cavill) because he feels that he is a threat to the entire human race, and Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) is trying to get rid of Batman and Superman.

There are a lot of flaws with this movie. The last 30 minutes are just a CGI extravaganza. Some of the plot doesn’t make sense, there is quite a bit of lazy writing, and it focuses way too much on setting up future movies.

There was a lot of extra sub plots in this movie and it made the movie feel very confusing. Also some characters were not presented as others. I felt that Lex Luther was a little over the top, and Lois Lane was being forced into the story.

There are good things about this movie too. Ben Affleck does an amazing job playing Batman. Even though people don’t like Henry Cavill as Superman, I thought he did a very good job.

The movie looked great and the some of the action sequences were pretty cool. I feel that if the movie would have had more action sequences without explosions and CGI monsters, it would have been a much more entertaining movie.

Overall, I thought this film, which was in production for over 3 years, was pretty disappointing. The biggest flaw was that it focused way too much on setting up future movies, like “Justice League” and “Wonder Woman,” and not caring about its own plot.

I give “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” a 5/10.
