Students prepare for homecoming
Homecoming can be an exciting time of the year. Girls shop for dresses, guys rent tuxedos and buy corsages, girls make hair appointments, and plan for the night of the dance.
Senior Tia Grover shares her plans for the night.
“I have a friend from here I’m going with and a friend from Great Bend and we’re going to get ready at my house together,” she said.
Senior Audrey Bieker has similar plans.
“I am looking for a dress. Me and my friends usually go shopping together and makes plans,” she said.
Some students aren’t quite as prepared.
“Well I bought a dress, that’s about it. I have no plans for hair or anything else,” junior Rebecca Stegman said.
Homecoming is typically a pretty busy time of the year, causing some students to be unsure about attending the dance.
“My schedule’s crazy. I don’t know what’s going on that weekend yet so I don’t know if I’m going,” senior Russ Kohl said.
Other students just have simple plans.
“I am going with my friends,” freshman Peyton Augustine said.
Students are looking forward to shopping for dresses.
“I am excited because I get to wear a pretty dress,” sophomore Briana Aldrich said.
