There has been much talk lately about a movie that came out in 2008, called “Twilight,” which became one of the most popular movies of its time and had a series built around it, just like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and more.

Like these other movies, “Twilight” has led to the creation of different subcultures around it, having people dress up in costumes to see the movies. It also led to a lot of merchandise being made, from T-shirts to jewelry to drinking glasses. Another thing “Twilight” has in common with these movies is that they take place in a world different than ours; although they may take place on Earth, it is not Earth as we know it.

In “Twilight,” that world is one in which vampires and werewolves exist. The movie, which was based on a book, stars a teenage girl named Bella, played by Kristen Stewart. She moves to live with her father, Charlie, who is played by Billy Burke, in a small town called Forks, Wash. When Forks is shown, there tends to be a filter on the screen to make the town seem sadder and rainier, setting the tone for the movie.

When Bella moves to her new town, she feels that things at her new school seem a little off. Everything gets weirder when she meets a boy she immediately likes, named Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattison.

Edwards is part of a family of vampires, and he protects Bella when strange things start to happen in their town. There is, however, another male lead named Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner, who is a family friend of Bella’s but who is werewolf.

Between these two boys, there is increasing drama among fans as the series continues. Fans even now debate who Bella should have ended up with romantically, sparking fights between “Team Edward” or “Team Jacob.”

Throughout the movie, there are moments of good acting, however, because of when it was made and how the actors portrayed their characters, it can come off as cringe. This element of the movie is less enjoyable, but the storyline saves the movie.

As the movie continues, Bella and Edward go on adventures to stop evil and save Bella’s family, which leads into the other movies in the series and creates a world for fans to live in each time they watch the movies.

This series of movies has created a wonderful space for people to escape their world and be part of something much cooler, which is why the movie deserves an 8/10.
