Senior Payton Ruder signs to Baker
Senior Payton Ruder signed to play golf at Baker University during seminar on Mar. 1.
“I am so grateful to have this opportunity,” Ruder said. “It has always been a goal of mine to play collegiate golf and now it has finally came true, so it is just nice to see all of my hard work finally paying off.”
Ruder said that his motivation for achieving his goal of playing in college stemmed from when his grandfather started him on golf.
“My grandpa Jantz really got me started when I was three years-old,” Ruder said. “From that time, it turned from a hobby to a passion. I love how there is always room for improvement, so that has always been a motivator for me.”
