Another win came for the boys basketball team as it defeated Garden City, 74-54.
Hays bounced back in the game after it suffered its first loss of the season to Great Bend.
At the end of the first half senior Nick Petz hit a three before the Buffalos came back down and hit a three. Petz then hit another three for an answer. When Garden City came down the next time Sophomore Brady Werth rejected a shot.
Werth led the way in scoring with 28 points in the game.
The next game for the Indians is in the first round of the Colby Tournament on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
