Three late goals propelled the Indians to a 3-2 overtime victory against Liberal.
Liberal led the game at the half 2-0.
Hays didn’t score until there was five minutes left in regulation when senior Kellen Griffin put two goals in to send the game into overtime.
In the first overtime period junior Shawn Herrman scored off of a cross. The team then proceeded to dog-pile on top of Herrman as the game was over.
The next action for the boys soccer team is Tuesday, Oct. 9, as the team hosts Garden City for senior day.
