An exciting last 15 minutes of the game led to the demise of the boys soccer team as it lost, 4-3.
The Indians claimed the lead in the 21st minute on a goal from sophomore Graydon Olson.
The game went into the half with Hays up 1-0.
Dodge City came back to tie it in the 52nd minute.
The score remained tied until there was just under 15 minutes left in the game.
Dodge City scored with 13 minutes and 14 seconds left in the game to go up 2-1.
Junior Jordan Windholz then scored with 12 minutes left to tie the game.
Forty eight seconds later the Red Demons scored again.
Windholz put in another goal with 2 minutes and 44 seconds left.
Dodge then put in the game winning goal with just 24 seconds left on the clock.
Hays is now 4-6-2 on the season and hosts Liberal on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m.
