The boys soccer team dominated the shot tally against Junction City, but only came out with a 1-1 tie.
For the game the Indians outshot the Blue Jays 50-4.
The lone goal for Hays came with just over two minutes remaining in the first half when senior Kellen Griffin received a ball from senior Brady Kenton, then turned on his defender hitting the shot with the outside of his foot into the upper corner.
Junction then regrouped and scored on a corner kick with 15 seconds left in the half.
The game went on with the Indians getting more and more opportunities but were unable to score.
