For the second time since 2005 the Garden City girls soccer team lost a WAC game. Hays handed them the 2-1 defeat in overtime.
Junior Taylor Herman had both goals for the ladies.
Garden had the first goal of the game in the 20th minute.
Herman then tied the game in the 29th minute with a shot going off of the far post and in.
The game then remained tied through the rest of regulation.
Herman found the back of the net for the second time of the game in overtime for the final 2-1 score.
