The girls swimming team took second at the Great Bend swimming meet with 532 points.
Placing the highest at the meet was the 400 Free Relay in first place with the team of juniors Courtney Hess, Courtney Kaba and Jessica Carreira as well as sophomore Mackenzie Lewis.
People finishing in second were Carreira in the 200 Free, the 200 Free Relay with senior Madison Jones, sophomore Alexa Steinkuhler, freshman Emily McPherson and Carreira another placer was Hess in the 100 Backstroke.
Finishing in third were Mcpherson in the 50 Free, Carreira in the 100 Free, Hess in the 500 Free and freshman Shelbie Berens in the 100 Backstroke.
The next meet for the girls is April 5 at Topeka High.
