The boys soccer team lost 2-0 to Dodge City on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Dodge got one goal in the first half.
Hays appeared to of scored at the end of the first half when sophomore Shawn Herrman put the ball in the back of the net after the keeper dropped the initial shot from junior Kellen Griffin. The goal got called back for offsides though.
The Red Demons then scored early on in the second half to make the game 2-0.
“We played well today,” junior Cameron O’connor said. “We just need to get more goals and scoring opportunities.”
The next game for the boys soccer team is Thursday, Oct. 6, at Liberal.
