Golf places third at Dodge City Invitational
Indian golfers take third place at the Dodge City Invitational April 23.
The Indians compiled an 18 hole total of 329 at the Dodge City Invitational to a third place finish at Mariah Hills .
Hays finished behind Maize in first with a total of 305, followed by Garden City with 315. Other teams competing were Dodge City, 332; TMP-Marion, 332, Goddard Eisenhower, 340; Hutchinson, 344, Ulysses, 356; Wichita NW, 356, Great Bend, 356; Liberal, 357, Wichita East, 364; Wichita North, 401, and Topeka West, 410.
Individual medalists were Payton Ruder in eighth with a 78, Nathan Romme totaled an 80, and Cash Hobson scored an 83. Peyton Kieffer carded an 88, Allen Zollinger shot a 92, and Justin McCullick shot a 92.
The Indians will go to the Hutchinson Invitational May 1.
