Candy grams spread the cheer

The holiday season is known for a time for spreading cheer and being with family and friends. Stuco started to spread the cheer by selling candy grams.  The candy grams were sold in the morning before school next to the lecture hall from Dec. 9 to Dec. 17.

The candy grams were 50 cents each and because of the holiday season, the candy to be bought were candy canes.

Students that bought candy grams could send them to anyone in the school and could choose to write a message to them as well.

Students in StuCo delivered the candy grams during seminar.

“I bought a candy gram and sent it to myself,” junior Kaelan Dietze said. “I put it from anonymous.”

Some students received candy grams that said they were from anonymous. This made the students wonder who could it be that gave it to them.

“It was pretty exciting to get an anonymous candy gram, but it made me nervous,” junior Rylie Rowland said.
