It is that time of year again. Snowflakes will begin to fall and sweaters will emerge from closets. Students cuddle up in boots and hoodies on their way to school in the mornings.

Kids seem to be excited about this year’s chilly season.

Junior Lexie Reinhardt is very enthusiastic about getting back to snowy weather.

“Winter is my favorite season,” Reinhardt said. “I love winter outfits, and how everyone is just happier around winter.”

Junior Kaylee Horn is most excited for winter fashion.

“I love sweaters and boots and all winter clothing,” Horn said.

Although most students don’t mind the coming of the cold, some do not feel the same.

Senior Aaron Jacobs said that he prefers warm weather over cold weather, but if he had to choose a favorite thing about winter it would be winter outfits.

“I don’t really like winter very much,” Jacobs said.

Sophomore Cammi Tetlow is excited for snow days.

“I like winter because of the snow,” Tetlow said.

Winter is a cozy season well fit for snuggling up and having good time with family and friends.

“I always enjoy sitting by the fire and drinking hot chocolate,” freshman Megan Smith said. “I also love winter outfits but my favorite winter characteristic is snow.”
