Girls golf takes second in Dodge City

On Thursday, Sept. 9, Hays High School’s girls golf team played an 18-hole tournament in Dodge City at Mariah Hills Golf Course.

Freshman Evyn Cox and junior Katie Dinkel tied for eighth with a score of 88, freshman Jaycee Oakley took 18th with a 96, sophomore Lily Garrison took 22nd with a 98, junior Claire Humphrey shot a 99 for 25th and sophomore Abbie Norris placed 26th with a 100.

The team took second with a score of 370.
