Girls soccer team come out on top in 1-0, overtime victory

The girls soccer team triumphed over the Dodge City Red Demons in a 1-0 overtime victory.

The lady Indians saw majority of the offensive opportunities in both halves. The Red demons defense held strong through the waves of attacks from the Lady Indians.

The game winning goal came from young sophomore Maggie Robben, off a penalty kick with two minutes left in overtime. The penalty kick was won by Cori Isbell.

Lady Indians improve to 4-1 on the season, hosting their next WAC game against the Liberal Redskins on April 4, at 4 p.m. at the Hays High Soccer Field.
