Boys soccer falls to Great Bend in 3-0 loss

Sophomore Brian Cisneros opens up to pass the ball up the field in action against Great Bend, which resulted in a 3-0 loss.

The boys soccer team fell to WAC rivals, the Great Bend Panthers 3-0 on Tuesday.

Both teams went through the first half scoreless, the Indians and the Panthers had multiple opportunities to score but neither could capitalize.

Kicking off the second half Great Bend slowly gained control of the game netting their first goal  2 minutes into the half.

The Panthers would net two more goals after the first to seal the Indians defeat.

The Indians drop to 3-3 on the season and 0-2 in WAC. The Indians next match up with be against Dodge city at 4 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Hays High Soccer Field.
