Hays High senior Karee Dinkel led the Lady Indian golf team to a second-place finish at the Salina Central Invitational after breaking a school record.

Dinkel set the school record with a high score of 34 which beats the previous Hays High record of 35.

Dinkel won first place at the meet, followed by junior Emily McGuire with a score of 42 for a 3rd place finish, junior Brittani Park with a score of 45 for a tie for 12th place, freshman Sophia Garrison with a score of 51, junior Emily George scored 52, and junior Molly Eikenberry with a score of 56.

As a team, the Lady Indians finished second with a score of 178, following Manhattan with a score of 174.
