The Hays High golf team placed second on May 2 at the Great Bend Invitational.
The team shot an 18-hole total 312 and had four medalists. Junior Allen Zollinger placed fourth with a 73, followed by sophomore Trey McCrae in fifth with a 73, followed by senior Justin McCullick in seventh with a 79, followed by sophomore Josh Norris in ninth with a 79.
Rounding out the scoring were Brent Koenigsman; 79, and Peyton Kieffer; 81.
