Golf team places second at home for season opener

The Hays High golf team placed second at the season opener on March 28 at home.
The team shot an 18-hole total 318 and had three medalists. Junior Allen Zollinger placed third with a 76, followed by sophomore Josh Norris in sixth with a 78, and senior Brent Koenigsman in ninth with 79.
Rounding out the scoring were Peyton Kieffer, 88; Trey McCrae, 85; Justin McCullick, 86.
