Several members of the volleyball team received post-season honors from the Western Athletic Conference.

Senior Albany Schaffer was named WAC player of the year for the second consecutive year in addition to being named first team All-WAC. Joining her on the first team was senior Kylie Brown. Senior Tessa Stickel was named honorable mention.

“Being named WAC player of the year is such an honor,” Shaffer said. “But I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my amazing teammates. We all just work as a team and I am more than thankful for all of them.”

Coach Christin Nunnery was also honored and was named WAC coach of the year for the second year.
