Girls soccer defeats Augusta, 2-0 on April 4 in final round of tournament

The Lady Indians soccer team ended the McPherson Tournament on April 4 with a 2-0 win over Augusta. The girls finished seventh in the tournament.

Sophomore Tressa Becker scored the first goal for the team at the 33^rd minute, assisted by sophomore Maddie Keller. The score was 1-0 at halftime. At the 67^th minute, sophomore Talyn Kleweno, assisted by senior Brooke Russell, scored another goal.

The girls move into WAC play on April 7 at home against Dodge City.
