An overall solid season came to a disappointing close for the Indian volleyball team as it lost in the first round of the Class 4A Sub-state Tournament in McPherson.

The Indians fell to McPherson in straight games, 25-14 and 25-20, to end their season with an overall mark of 26-10.

The Indians were seeded number three in the tournament, while McPherson was the number two seed.
