The last tournament for the girls golf team was at the state tournament on Monday Oct. 21 at Tex Consolver golf course in Wichita. They finished as a team in the eighth place spot out of 12 teams with a score of 393.
The team shot a 205 with the top four scores on the front 9 but came back with a 188 on the back nine.
Individually, junior Lexie Schaben finished in a tie for 21st with a score of 94 followed by freshman Katie Brungardt with a 96 that tied for 27th. Junior Elissa Jensen tied for 37th with a score of 100 and freshman Rhian Patterson scored a 103 finishing with a tie for 46th.
Sophomore Taylor DeBoer finished with a tie for 64th place at a score of 111 followed by junior Macie Mayo in a tie for 73rd with a final score of 114.
There wer 91 individual golfers.
