It’s not worth stressing over

Its+not+worth+stressing+over

Many times I find myself ripping the hair out of my head due to the stress of attempting to keep up with all of my school activities.

On top of all of this, I genuinely strive to always be the best I can be. So, you can image how I feel when my efforts do not pay off.

Think about spending all of your energy and motivation on one thing, only to have it torn from your clutches in a matter of seconds. Now imagine that happening to you every single year, in every activity you participate in. Literally.

I constantly feel like a runner in a sports competition always just half of a second behind first place. Or a member in a group that does the exact same thing as everyone else but receives no recognition.

It’s terrible, it’s ridiculous, but that’s the way it is. Life isn’t fair. So it certainly isn’t worth stressing about.

Unfortunately, not everything can be in your control except your mindset. Why would you spend hours stressing and crying over something that you can’t control? If something that is unfair repeatedly happens, you have to realize that it isn’t your fault. Especially if you are working incredibly hard to attain your goals.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t strive to be your best, but you shouldn’t hate yourself because of an unjust system. If you keep pushing yourself you can and will be successful. Maybe not now, maybe not soon, but it will happen one way or another.

Life will go on, and so will you.
