Looking back 10, 25, 50 years ago
The Guidon staff has decided to include a monthly feature in which it will look through past editions of the newspaper to see the news events that were being reported 10, 25, and 50 years ago during each particular month.

- The Guidon staff interviews students and FACS teacher Kim Dinkel about credit card usage among students.
- The 2008 Indian Call Yearbook given Award of Excellence for overall design and coverage.
- Nine journalism students qualified for state journalism contest.
- Nineteen students qualified for national BPA.
- Students reflected over mission trips.
