Indian golf takes seventh place at McPherson.

The Indian golfers took seventh place at the McPherson Invitational Apr. 9.

The Indians compiled for 18 holes a 349 with Maize in first with a total of 340, followed by Derby with 341 and Hutchinson in third. Other teams competing were Sterling with 346, Ark City, 348, Buhler, 349, Hays High, 349, Newton, 367, McPherson, 376, El Dorado, 398, Winfield, 403, Campus, 405, and St John, 502.

Individual medalists were Cash Hobson in fifth with a 82, and Payton Ruder in seventh with a 83.

The Indians travel to Garden City Apr. 11.
