As Hays High School prepares for the Prom, royalty candidates were announced on Tuesday, March 25 during PRIDE Time after teachers voted for seniors the week prior.
This year’s queen candidates are seniors Jaynie Brooks, Allie Bunger, Kolynn Denning, Molly Martin, Tionna Napue and Marisa Wasinger. King candidates include seniors Hank Corsair, Carter Graham, Cole McDonough, Dalton Meyers, Preston Parr and Madox Zimmerman.
“I was excited that teachers thought I was a good candidate to represent Hays High for prom,” Denning said.
With the theme of “Tangled,” Prom will take place on Saturday, April 12 at the Hilton Garden Inn from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
