Heading into second semester of the school year, the Hays High School boys swim team attended the Salina South tournament on Jan. 9.
At the Salina South meet, the Indians took first place in front of Dodge City in second and Wichita Northwest in first.
The best finishes in Salina were by junior Chase Zadina who placed first in 100 fly and second in 200 free, junior Karsen Flaska who placed first in 100 back and second in 200 IM, and senior Marshall Sook who placed third in 100 free.
“The season has gone good so far, but there is still more to tell about the rest of the season,” Zadina said.
