Hays High School’s Prom was held on Saturday, April 20 from 8-10:30 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn.
Students got to dance, play games and enjoy a variety of refreshments and snacks that were provided.
To conclude the dance, candidates were introduced, and the royalty was crowned. Senior Lexi Burton was crowned as this year’s queen, and senior Justus Nelson was crowned as king.
“It was an honor to even be nominated, let alone win,” Nelson said. “We had such a good group of candidates this year that I would have been happy with anyone winning, but I’m especially grateful that I did.”
