Marching band attends band competitions
This fall, the Hays High School marching band attended two competitions, with the first being the Western Athletic Conference Marching Festival and the other being the High Plains Marching Festival.
On Oct. 18, when the band attended the WAC Marching Festival at Lewis Field in Hays, it earned an overall rating of a I for a second year in a row.
On Oct. 24, the band attended the High Plains Marching Festival at Fort Hays State University, but at press time, they still did not have the results.
