National Honor Society officers announced for current year

The National Honor Society logo has the letters C, S, L, and S, which stand for the pillars of NHS, character, scholarship, leadership, and service. The torch in the middle represents the search for truth.
On Friday, Oct. 1, National Honor Society officers were announced. Current NHS seniors got to vote amongst themselves, the senior members of NHS, to determine who this year’s officers would be.
The 2021-2022 NHS officers include the following:
President – senior Grace McCord
Vice President – senior Jocelyn Rigler
Secretary – senior Aleyia Ruder
Treasurer – senior Landri Dotts
“National Honor Society does great things for the community,” McCord said. “Being a bigger part of our chapter is a great opportunity, and I am grateful for the chance to continue to help my community through NHS.”
The induction for new members will be Tuesday, Nov. 9.
