StuCo officers and members sell candy grams to students in the gym commons area.

From Feb. 1 through Feb. 5, Student Council will be selling candy grams in the Commons, while StuCo members will be selling and delivering candy room to room during PRIDE Times.

Students can buy ring pops, Hershey bars, Kit Kat bars and Skittles.

Prices vary from $1 to $2.50 per item:

$1 Ring Pops

$1.50 Skittles

$2.50 Hershey and Kit Kat bars (or two for $4)

“We chose to sell candy grams so we could bring some school spirit and raise some money,” senior StuCo treasurer Hope Kisner said. “We are limited on our options for school activities, and this is one of the activities the whole school could potentially participate in.”

On Feb. 1 and 2, StuCo sold out on all candy grams and had to buy more.

“I think the favorite candy among students is the Hershey’s bar,” Kisner said. “We have done other candy sales, just not specifically these with the notes attached.”

StuCo public relations officer Emelia Morley agreed with Kisner.

“I would say the favorite candy grams among students have been cookies and cream Hershey bars and Kit-Kats,” Morley said. “The candy gram sales have gone really well! I It’s a great way to raise money for StuCo, and it’s fun for the students to be able to send candy to their friends.”
