Instructor Alex Underwood addressed the hard work put in by each member in this process, including their opportunity to choose and practice their own song.

The Cabaret gave each singer the chance to be in the spotlight.

“I feel like it went really well,” Rider said. “I think the audience really enjoyed it. I think it gave them a little taste of what each singers’ personality is like.”

Sophomore Sydney Wittkorn agreed with Rider’s view of the event.

“I honestly don’t think I could pick a favorite part, because everyone’s acts were so different and unique from each other that there’s no way to pick a single one,” Wittkorn said.

Wittkorn believes each act did show each member’s personality.

“The only thing I think we could have done differently is publicizing the cabaret more,” Wittkorn said. “There wasn’t much publicity leading up to it and I feel like we could have gotten more people to come than we did. I still think it was a very nice turnout anyway.”
