Junior Alexis White and sophomore Summer Schneider work on decorations for this year’s Homecoming.

The Student Council (StuCo) lock-in was held on Sept. 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event was held in the library and some of the decorating took place in Room 110.

“StuCo Lock-ins are intended to be a fun environment for members to work together to complete tasks for homecoming,” StuCo President, Maddie Lohmeyer said. “At lock-ins, students work on tasks such as decorating the display cases, creating name tags for dance attendees, and designing decorations for the halls.”

Some of the decorations and items the members worked on for this year’s Homecoming were ticket designs and ideas for the Games Assembly. Some of the members helped with several different tasks.

“I helped make posters and helped design the display case,” sophomore Tyler Solida said.

The lock-in was a great way for the students to hang out with others, help with homecoming, and be involved in their school.

“I feel like it went really well and that we got a lot of work done while having a lot of fun,” Solida said.
