Instructor wins photography contest put on by Nex-Tech

Instructor Lynn Zimmerman recently won the Directory Photo Contest put on by Nex-Tech.
As prizes, she received a $300 check and her image featured on the cover of the Northwest Kansas Nex-Tech Directory. Each year Nex-Tech holds the contest and anyone is eligible to submit a picture.

Above is the winning picture that instructor Lynn Zimmerman submitted.
“This is not the first contest I have won, but I was still very excited,” Zimmerman said. “I have also been featured in the Guidon before which is fun.”
Zimmerman has had her photography business Blue Stem Photos for about six years. She does senior, family and other types of photography sessions.
“I do photography on the side as a hobby,” Zimmerman said. “I started my business just because I really enjoyed taking pictures, and I find it really fun.”
