Junior aspires to continue basketball, golf at collegiate level
Junior Peyton Kieffer is heavily involved in both basketball and golf. When he was younger, Kieffer decided to be involved in both sports, and is now successful in each of them.
With plans to continue playing at a collegiate level, Kieffer is becoming more serious about his sportsmanship.
“My parents taught me about these sports when I was young,” Kieffer said. “I hope that I am able to play one of them at a college level.”
Kieffer considers his endeavors with golf to be most successful, especially after winning the State Championship last year with the golf team.
“My best memory is definitely winning that championship,” Kieffer said.
Bramlage Coliseum was one of the coolest places Kieffer ever played.
“We got to go there during one summer with the basketball team,” Kieffer said. “It was a really great experience for all of us.”
Kieffer said his favorite part of being so involved with sports are the friendships he gains out of them.
“I love being able to win games with my friends,” Kieffer said. “Having people you like spending time with on a team is something that many people can take for granted.”
