The volleyball team traveled to Colby on Oct. 3 for Colby Quad and went 3-0. The teams present were Colby, Liberal, Phillipsburg.

Hays vs Liberal

25-17, 24-26, 25-23

Freshman Tasiah Nunnery had 14 digs, two solo blocks and seven kills. Sophomore Jaycee Dale had eight block assists and five aces and sophomore Hannah McGuire had 14 assists.

Hays vs Phillipsburg

25-17, 25-22

Sophomore Mattie Hutchison and McGuire had six assists. Senior Rachel Taylor, Nunnery and Dale had four kills. Nunnery had 14 digs and sophomore Jaysa Wichers had nine blocks.

Hays vs Colby

25-14, 25-19

Junior Mallory Linn, Taylor, Nunnery and Dale had four kills. McGuire and Nunnery had 10 assists and 12 digs respectively. Dale and Wichers had four blocks.

Dale and Wichers had seven kills, Dale also had six blocks. McGuire had 15 assists and Leiker had seven digs.

The ladies are now 13-12 on the season their next action is WAC on Oct. 15 at home.
