Prom was held at the Fort Hays Memorial Union on April 16.

“I had a really good time,” senior Rachel Stritt said. “It was a really memorable last prom.”

Senior Jordan Betts agreed with Stritt.

“It was lit,” Betts said. “I had fun.”

Stritt said she enjoys prom more than other dances.

“Prom is a lot more fun because everybody gets more dressed up and everyone looks beautiful,” Stritt said. “It’s just a fun time.”

The candidates this year were seniors Gage Phillips, Haley George, Trenton Potter, Kayla Hitchcock, Jarett Pfannenstiel, Brittany Dinkel, Hunter Perryman, Kinsey Ackerman, Scott Ring, Emily Prine, Maddux Winter and Raeleann Weigel. The crowned king and queen were Jarett Pfannenstiel and Brittany Dinkel.

“I was really happy for the winners,” Stritt said. “All the candidates were very deserving.”
