Students have varying opinions on class rings
Students received a package a few weeks ago filled with information for class rings. Class rings are specially made and usually cost over $100.
“I think they’re a waste of money,” junior Trevor Berry said.
Students’ opinions vary over this subject, some think they’re cool while others think they are unnecessary.
“They’re boring,” sophomore Drew Morley said.
The student can design the class ring however they want and this year there is more variety over the choices. Class rings aren’t mandatory but some students think that students should get them.
“I think students should have class rings,” freshman Hayley Tomlinson said, “They’re really cool.”
Many would like to get a class ring but find money to be a problem like sophomore Travian Price.
“I think the rings are too expensive,” Price said, “I’m going to go to Walmart and just get a similar one there for less.”
People like junior Megan Scott like the idea of them but aren’t going to get one.
“I don’t wear rings, but I they’re really pretty,” Scott said.
Many think that class rings are a nice idea but are overly priced. They think they are a spirited piece of jewelry but don’t think they are worth the money.
“If they weren’t so expensive I would buy one,” Ashlyn Lemon said.
