The new fruit slushies in the cafeteria have brought excitement to students since last year and the year before have changed rules of thumb for the product sold in the lunch room.

“I like them a lot,” senior Adam Nguyen said. “They taste really good and seem to be pretty popular.”

Sophomore Kara Gabel agrees.

“They are really good and everyone seems to like them,” Gabel said. “However, they make a mess.”

Some students also said that they do agree they are good but seem to be a bit overpriced.

“They are overpriced for what you get,” sophomore Riley Spears said. “They should be 50 cents instead of 90.”

Some students are comparing the price of the school fruit slushies to a snowball you can buy at cervs.

“They are a cool thing for the school and taste good,” senior Christian Wright said. “But I can buy a snowball for just basically 20 cents more and get three times as much.”

Junior Rylea Barrett likes them but said they need to be served differently.

“They are freezing to hold,” Barrett said. “They should be served in Styrofoam cups instead.”

Overall the idea and results of these slushies have been positive and fun for the school.

“They are really good,” sophomore Dusty Schneider said. “The school is going to get a lot of money from it.”
