Senior Brooke Russell signed her National Letter of Intent with Barton County Community College on Friday, April 17, in the multipurpose room.

Russell has been playing soccer since she was five years old, and continued playing throughout her high school career.

“I am excited to go to college for soccer because that was my childhood dream,” Russell said. “It is still so unreal that it is actually happening.”

Russell hopes to become a better soccer player, as well as get her associates degree in Agriculture Business.

“After going to Barton, I want to go back to FHSU to help out with my family farm,” Russell said.
