Indians trail heavily at the annual Western Plains Diamond Classic Tournament

Western Plains Diamond Classic Tournament grinds to a halt as senior Dalton Dale faces the tough competition.

The Indians faced the toughest competition they would for the entire season at the annual Western Plains Diamond Classic Tournament that they hosted from May 5-7.

Hays High fell to three out of the four teams, finishing 1-3.

Life Prep Academy beat Hays High 6-3 after scoring the last three runs in the top of the sixth inning. The Life Prep Academy Fire would go 4-0 and take the title for the tournament.
