Indian comeback falls short at Garden City
The Indians were able to pull off a comeback in the fourth quarter against the Garden City Buffalos on Friday Sept 21, but the comeback wouldn’t be enough for the Indians to pull off a win on the road. The Indians would lose the game 35-28.
The Indians would not go throughout the game getting beat, as they never gave up and kept their stats close with the Buffalos, although the scoring would not stay close.
“We’ve had moments when we’ve looked like a really good team,” Coach Tony Crough said. “If we can get all of this put together at the same time we could have a really good team.”
The Indians move on to 1-3 on the season. The Indians will play at home on Sept 28 against Wichita South.
