On Monday, April 29, the girls soccer team fought against the Wichita Collegiate Spartans at home and won 10-0.
Sophomore Annie Humphrey scored three goals, while seniors Katie Gutierrez, Arely Maldonado, Sydney Meier and Addie Otte and sophomores Ava Biggs, Liz Cunningham and Kinslee Newel each scored one.
Then, on Thursday, May 2, the team tried hard but lost at an away game against the Dodge City Demons. The final score was 2-1, with just Maldonado scoring.
The girls will play next at home against TMP on Tuesday, May 7.
“My favorite part of our team is how well we work with each other on and off the field,” Cunningham said.
