On Thursday, April 11, the lady Indians soccer team fought and won, 4-1, against the Wichita Trinity Knights. The game was played at home and was a non-conference game.
Sophomore Annie Humphrey and senior Keira Wagstaff both scored one goal, and sophomore Karlee Crispin scored two.
Then, on Thursday, April 18, the girls struggled against the Liberal Redskins at an away game, but ultimately came out on top with a 3-2 win.
Senior Arely Maldonado, sophomore Kinslee Newel and sophomore Karlee Crispin each scored for the team.
The girls’ next game will be Monday, April 22, and will happen at the Great Bend Panthers’ home field.
“It is always super motivating to play our rivals,” Maldonado said. “The whole team is looking forward to it.”
