On Thursday, March 22, the lady Indians soccer team competed in its first game at home against the Great Bend Panthers. The final score of the game was 3-1.
Sophomore Kinslee Knewll scored the first two goals of the game. Then, senior Keira Wagstaff scored the third. All three goals were assisted by sophomore Karlee Crispin.
The girls are expected to play next at the McPherson Invite in McPherson on March 25 and 26.
“I thought the game went well,” sophomore Sienna Lummus said. “The first game is always super exciting, especially when we are playing against our rivals. Also, though, we finally got to see how we work together in action.”
