On Friday, Feb. 2, the girls basketball varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams played Dodge City in an away game.
All three of the Indian girls basketball teams improved their records in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The girls are 9-5 currently after their 48-29 win over Dodge.
“We won all three games at Dodge City,” Coach Melvin said. “I thought the girls played very hard. We are starting to gel as a team, and we are getting productive minutes from all of the girls. Of course, we have plenty of room to improve, but I am very pleased with the girls and their effort.”
